ADCN Yearbook cover

adcn_2adcn_4adcn_3I was invited by the Art Directors Club Netherlands to create a piece to be featured as a cover of the Yearbook of Advertising and Design, together with other 11 creatives from different fields.
The goal was to explore all types of materials, different conceptual and technical solutions. Instead of using 3D printers or other innovative technology, I instead decided to create a handmade sculpture with acrylic painted textured paper and wood and a visual representation of the motto “What you nurture grows”, a reminder to keep things close to our hearts, to be spontaneous, work with our hands and that sometimes when faced with a great challenge, the best is to keep things simple.
